A custom garden design is your guide for growing an outdoor space that feels like yours. It’s shaped by your goals, your tastes, your budget, and the rhythm of your daily life. Really, it’s a thoughtful, well-informed plan, rooted in what you need today without neglecting the future you want to nurture.

What’s included:

  • An aerial view of your outdoor space that provides a simple, but precise visual of structures and permanent features on your property, overlaid with your custom landscape design.

  • Purposeful plant recommendations for your taste and ecoregion, arranged in combinations that promote a healthier, more resilient ecosystem and food security for you and the bees!

  • An inventory of your site's natural and environmental conditions that enhance understanding of the unique characteristics, opportunities, and constraints to inform successful, functional, and sustainable design.

  • Recommendations to use food scraps, leaves, and garden trimmings to create nutrient-rich, living compost instead of sending them to the landfill.

  • Recommendations to make the most of every drop: collecting, storing, and delivering water where your garden needs it most.

  • Recommendations to restore and maintain the foundation of your garden by building nutrient-rich, living soil that supports stronger, more resilient plants.

  • Plant-specific guides to take the guesswork out of soil prep, planting, caring for, and harvesting from your garden. Recommendations are region-specific and accompanied by a quick-reference monthly calendar.

I keep costs simple: $75/hr.

After your initial consultation, I’ll have the information needed to provide a transparent quote, with no hidden costs, that reflects the time necessary for your particular project.
